Traditional Western Saddle #2
-Built-From-Scratch with Creekwood Tack's CUSTOM saddle tree. This saddle is structured just like a real, life-sized western saddle would be. The design is based on Kelly Collum's saddles, a saddlemaker from Pulltite, TN. I learned how to build full size saddles from Kelly, and he helped me size them down to model scales. Again, the tree is only available from Creekwood Tack. I do not order my saddle trees, I make them myself.

-Buckles on Hobble Straps are Handmade
-Hand-Sewn pieces include around the Swell and on Rear Jockey
-Formed Seat - the seat has "learned" it's shape. When the saddle was built, I worked the leather into the form it now holds., so it doesn't have any wrinkles, folds, or loose areas because it has assumed the shape I "taught" it.
-Stitchmarks on Cantle
-True-to-Life tied latigo and off-billet.
